There are specific requirements regarding the hardware and software required to run CCD v4.1 which are important, and if your system does not meet the required specification CCD v4.1 may not function correctly.

From CCD v4 onwards, we only support two configurations; CCD Solo for all single user installations and CCD Server/Workstation for all multiuser installations. If you are currently on a Peer to Peer/Workgroup set up you will need to upgrade to the CCD Server/Workstation configuration.
There will be two types of licences available for CCD v4.1; Concurrent for all users who need guaranteed access to CCD at all times and Guest for users who do not require guaranteed use at all times and can share the use of licences with the Concurrent users.
Adviser Desktop is not available as part of the CCD v4.1 release. Adviser Desktop will continue to be a product supported by our Customer Support Team for clients who wish to remain on an earlier release of CCD. You may wish to consider VPN access as an alternative for remote access.
On-line training is available to support all upgrades, please see the following recommendations and training requirements, as these vary depending on the version you are upgrading from and the areas of the system you are intending to use:
Upgrades from CCD v4.0.1
A one hour on-line training session is available and recommended for those intending to use Contract Enquiry.
Upgrades from CCD v4.0
Training is optional but highly recommended, especially if you intend using the SIPP and/or Contract Enquiry areas of the system. The training will take the form of a one hour online session, with a call prior to the training to agree an agenda based around your companies use of the system.
Upgrades from CCD v3.x
Due to the scale of changes and improvements to the system since CCD v3.x, any clients upgrading from CCD v3.x will require a training session. This can either be 2 hours on-line or run as a half day session at your offices, depending which suits best.

If you would prefer to incorporate this upgrade training into a face to face day at your site, covering any other areas you might want to spend time on, then this can be arranged at a discounted rate, when booked as part of your upgrade.
