Webline – launch new service

Capita Financial Software has today announced the launch of Business Term Protection through the Webline quotation and e-apply portal. This provides a number of new features and enhancements, designed to both improve coverage and address the developing requirements of financial advisers.

It allows advisers to use existing Term Protection quote forms on Webline and produce the results for Business Term Assurance in a term comparison table. The quotation process is streamlined, saving the adviser both time and the need to re-key information.

Providers now live within Webline for Business Protection Insurance are , Legal & General, Friends Provident and Aviva . A number of providers have contacted Webline about adding their Business Protection products onto the service and we expect the number of live providers to increase during the early stages of 2010

This also comes at a time when a new private medical insurance quotation service gives financial advisers and their clients independent; whole of market advice available to Webline users.

The easy-to-use service is provided by PMI Partners a leader in their specialist area. It allows Webline’s advisers to provide free indicative quotations for their PMI clients. When required, PMI Partners can give advice over the phone to the introduced client – this will be in around 90 per cent of cases. This allows PMI Partners to deliver a rapid, professional service, while advisers retain complete control over their clients as PMI Partners provide a ‘no cross-selling’ guarantee.   According to PMI Partners, this new feature can result in real savings on premiums for up to 40% for clients and obviously provide an additional revenue stream for brokers for completed applications based on an introducers’ fee.
