Synaptic Launches New Research Tool
1 October 2007
Synaptic, a Capita Enabler company, today announces the launch of Synaptic Protection Research, a new research tool designed exclusively for mortgage and protection based advisers.
The new tool is an entirely online solution that will enable users to research life and health protection products. Synaptic Protection Research will save advisers’ time by enabling them to identify the right contract for their clients within seconds. Using advanced filtering, advisers can conduct in depth analysis at a click of a button.
With full audit trails and suitability reporting, Synaptic Protection Research will aid compliance in terms of treating customers fairly as all supporting research and analysis information can be electronically stored for easy future reference.
As part of the overall Capita Enabler vision and range of products, Synaptic Protection Research helps deliver powerful aggregation to advisers’ desktops through integration with Webline. Seamlessly, users can conduct research, pre-populate a quotation form and apply for a product, in one straight through process. Synaptic also has an established capability to integrate with back-office systems to facilitate automated storage and retrieval at client level.
Simon Thomas, General Manager of Synaptic said: “In an industry being driven by regulation and treating customers fairly, the need for compliant, fully auditable research is paramount.
Not only has this product been designed to support fundamental compliance needs, but it will also help advisers improve their business efficiency and underpin the advice process. It forms part of the Capita Enabler proposition, by offering users a complete toolset that will drive productivity and will enable an adviser to offer a thorough, end-to-end service to their clients. In addition, it helps build additional income streams through business diversification (enhancing the opportunity for cross-selling and up-selling).”
Synaptic Protection Research will join Synaptic’s suite of research products, which already includes invaluable tools like Product Clarity and Fund Clarity (online); Product Manager and Fund Manager (desktop).
