Brewin Dolphin Signs Up to Synaptic Products and Fund Research

Synaptic, a Capita Enabler company, today announced it has secured a deal to supply Brewin Dolphin’s IFAs and stockbrokers with Synaptic Product and Fund Research, the online versions of Synaptic's research software.

The roll-out of Synaptic Product and Fund Research to the national base of Brewin Dolphin IFAs and stockbrokers enables advisers to produce product and fund information quickly and easily, providing a complete research audit for both selections. It will also allow advisers and para-planners to carry out product research and share it between themselves, previously not possible within the Brewin Dolphin network. A further option to produce post sale research for updating clients on portfolio performance, and the ability to create research reports and full suitability letters is also available following the deal.

An important consideration for Brewin Dolphin was the ability for their compliance team to monitor research carried out in Synaptic. The ability to access files remotely as well as the ability to save a complete audit trail for future reference supported within Synaptic Product and Fund Research is also seen as a key advantage.
